What Information Do We Collect?

All visitors to www.aegistools.com are free to browse anonymously. AEGIS Tools International does not collect any personal/identifiable information about you through our website unless you have voluntarily provided it to us. If you wish to open an account to order products from AEGIS Tools International, then we will maintain a record in our database with information necessary to make deliveries, bill your account, and communicate via phone and email with a designated representative of your business.

We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our website and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, your login credentials would be saved, thereby saving time while on our site. If you voluntarily complete a contact form on our website, we will maintain a record in our database to ensure we have adequate information to respond to your inquiry.  It is solely used to serve you better and not used in any public manner.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

 

Do We Share Your Information with Outside Parties?

AEGIS Tools International will only use the information you share with us to ensure the successful processing and delivery of your orders. For example, we share your name, address, etc.  with UPS to successfully deliver your order.  We will not share your personal data with anyone outside of AEGIS Tools International unless we are required to do so by law. If you share your email address with us, we will only use it to communicate with you regarding your business with AEGIS Tools International.

Some pages on our website may include links to additional news and information on third-party websites. These third-party websites have privacy policies, for which AEGIS Tools International International bears no responsibility. AEGIS Tools International International has no control over the content on third-party websites, although every effort will be made to only link to reputable content.
